Building Community Partnerships

School-community partnerships are special connections that help, either directly or indirectly, to promote the children’s development. At Orchard House, our most recent relationships with special community partners such as Action Communiterre, Les Ateliers Turcottes, Raymond Mourad Taekwondo Academy among others, have allowed us to work collectively for the overall wellbeing of each child.

Furthermore, our Community Service program provides our children with opportunities to learn and demonstrate core character traits and moral values which will help them to become responsible, caring members of their society.

Through a variety of service-learning activities, our children explore the importance of giving to help others in need. Each school selects a local organization annually with whom they can promote meaningful relationships. Over the course of the school year, our children are encouraged to support the organization by hosting age-appropriate events to raise funds or materials, or by volunteering their time.

Orchard House commits to both local and international charity organizations. Each experience brings a heightened awareness to the children that their actions can produce powerful, positive effects in their neighbourhoods and in the world.
